Monitoring & Maintenance
For the Helpdesk solution, I want to push for more of an 8-5 option as most businesses will have no interest in a 24/7 solution unless they operate 24/7 themselves. Most of my potential clients will be running during normal business operating hours. I want to offer 24/7 for a premium price to anyone who wants it, but I know the 8-5 or 9-5 support options will be desired. Possibly others as well. A lot of doctors offices and dentist offices here take 12-1 off or only work to 3 or 4 on certain days etc.
I want to get across that we have flexible plan options to accommodate your business’s needs. We can work for you only in the hours you need us, and we will monitor your network and systems so that we’re able to respond to any issue that may arise. Crisis management is a service in itself, and we will charge for off-hours work that may arise so that when your business hours begin, the issue will have been resolved so that you can conduct business as usual.
Obviously a special charge will be issued to the client whenever such an issue occurs if their plan only covers normal business hours. So there’s definitely going to be a service level agreement with various options that the client can choose to select based on their needs.
